Persian Abstract

زمینه و هدف: کودکان مبتلا به لوسمی در طی مراحل مختلف درمانی کاهش شدیدی در کیفیت زندگی تجربه می‌کنند. با توجه به اهمیت معنویت در نظام سلامت، موضوع ارتقای سلامت معنوی کمتر در برنامه‌های حمایتی و درمانی مراقبین کودکان مبتلا به لوسمی قرار گرفته است. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر مداخله معنوی مراقبین بر کیفیت زندگی کودکان 12-8 سال مبتلا به لوسمی انجام شد. روش‌ها: این کارآزمایی بالینی با مشارکت 60 نفر از مراقبین کودکان مبتلا به لوسمی انجام شد. گروه مداخله 5 جلسه مداخله معنوی بر اساس الگوی ریچاردز و برگین &nbsp;و با تمرکز بر مبانی دین اسلام که مشتمل بر مؤلفه&shy; های نیایش، توکل و توسل، صبر، شکر ، طلب و بخشش بود روزانه به مدت 60 دقیقه دریافت نمودند. ابزار پژوهش فرم اطلاعات فردی، پرسشنامه سلامت معنوی و کیفیت زندگی نوجوان بود که توسط مراقبین پیش از مداخله و در پایان آن تکمیل گردید. داده&shy;ها توسط نرم&shy;افزار SPSS ویرایش 16 تحلیل شد. نتایج: میانگین سن مراقبین در گروه کنترل 0.9 &plusmn;40 و مداخله 6.2&plusmn;35.7 سال بود. طبق یافته‌ها تفاوت معنی‌داری بین میانگین نمره کل کیفیت زندگی قبل و بعد از مداخله در دو گروه به‌دست نیامد (0.05<P)، اما بعد از مداخله میانگین نمره بعد اجتماعی کیفیت زندگی در گروه مداخله به طور معنی‌داری کمتر از گروه کنترل بود (0.033=P). نتیجه‌گیری: به‌نظر می‌رسد برگزاری جلسات حمایت معنوی می‌تواند بعد اجتماعی کیفیت زندگی کودکان مبتلا به لوسمی را ارتقا دهد. بنابراین پیشنهاد می‌گردد برنامه‌ریزی‌های لازم به منظور برگزاری چنین آموزش‌هایی با توجه به هزینه اندک و تاثیر‌گذاری نسبی آن‌ها برای مراقبین کودکان مبتلا به لوسمی پیش‌بینی شود.

The effect of Spiritual Support of caregivers on quality of life of children aged 8-12 with leukemia

Abstract

Background & Aim: Children with leukemia experience a decreased quality of life during different stages of treatment. Considering the importance of spirituality in health system, the spiritual health should be included in support and treatment program of caregivers of children with leukemia. This research was carried out to investigate the effect of spiritual support of caregiver on quality of life of children aged 8-12 with leukemia. Methods: In this clinical trial study 60 caregivers of children with leukemia participated. The Intervention group received spiritual intervention for 5 sessions of 60 minutes based on the Richards and Bergin pattern focusing on the rituals of Islam including prayer, trust and appeal, patience, gratitude and forgiveness. Research tools consisted of demographic data questionnaire, spiritual health questionnaire and teenager's quality of life questionnaire which were completed by the caregivers before and after the intervention. Statistical analyses were conducted by SPSS version 16. Results: The mean age of caregivers in the intervention and control groups was 35.7&plusmn;6.2 and 40&plusmn;0.9, respectively. According to the findings, there was no significant difference between average scores of quality of life in the both groups after and before intervention (P˃0.05). However, after the Intervention, the average score of social dimension of quality of life in intervention group was significantly lower than the control group) P=0.033). Conclusion: It seems that holding sessions of spiritual support for caregivers can increase social dimension of quality of life of children with leukemia.Therefore, it is suggested to plan such low cost and effective educational programs for caregivers of children with leukemia.&nbsp;
