Persian Abstract

زمینه و هدف: ویژگی ها و ابعاد شخصیتی از جمله عوامل مهم در ایجاد، تداوم و تشدید بسیاری از اختلالات و بیماری ها هستند. باتوجه به اهمیت عوامل موثر بر کیفیت زندگی بیماران مبتلا به سرطان پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین نقش ابعاد شخصیتی HEXACO، تیپ شخصیتی D و هیجانات در پیش بینی کیفیت زندگی افراد مبتلا به سرطان انجام شد. روش‌ها: مطالعه توصیفی-تحلیلی حاضر  بر روی 100 نفر از بیماران سرطانی مراجعه کننده به مرکز امام خمینی(ره) شهر تهران در سال 1392 انجام شد. بیماران با روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب  و پرسشنامه های ابعاد شخصیتی‌HEXACO، تیپ شخصیتی‌D، مقیاس عاطفه مثبت و منفی و کیفیت زندگی،  را تکمیل کردند. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها  با آزمون های آماری ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و  رگرسیون چندگانه با استفاده از نرم افزار  spss ویرایش 18  انجام شد. نتایج:  یافته‌ها نشان داد که از بین ابعاد تیپ شخصیتی HEXACO تهییج پذیری و برون گرایی، در مقیاس عاطفه،عاطفه منفی و در مقیاس تیپ شخصیتی D  هیجان‌پذیری منفی  می توانند کیفیت زندگی را در افراد مبتلا به سرطان به صورت معنی داری پیش بینی کنند (0.05>p).  نتیجه گیری: گر چه ابعاد شخصیتیHEXACO ، تیپ شخصیتی D و عواطف مثبت و منفی، بخشی از عوامل موثر بر کیفیت زندگی افراد مبتلا به سرطان را پیش بینی می نماید، اما عوامل ناشناخته دیگری هستند که نیاز به مطالعات بیشتر می باشد.

Role of HEXACO personality dimensions, D Personality Type and emotions in the quality of life of people suffering from cancer

Abstract

Background and aims: The purpose of the present study was the determination of the role of HEXACO personality dimensions, D Personality Type and positive and negative emotions in the quality of life of people suffering from cancer. Methods: The present study was a descriptive correlational study. The population of this study involved all the patients suffering from cancer who visited medical centers of Tehran in 2013. Convenient sampling was used in this study. To this end, 100 patients who visited Imam Khomeini Center were selected. They filled Quality of Life Questionnaire, Questionnaire of D Personality Type, Positive and Negative Emotions Scale, and the short from of HEXACO Personality Inventory. The data of the study were analyzed using Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Regression Analysis. Results: The results showed that there are significant correlations between emotionality (r=-0.289), extroversion (r=0.232), negative affection (r=-.0111) and negative emotionality (r=-0.117); and the quality of life of patients suffering from cancer. In addition, the results of Multiple Regression Analysis showed that 22 percent of the variance of quality of life of patients suffering from cancer was explained by HEXACO Personality Dimensions, positive and negative affections and D Personality Type. Conclusion: According to the findings, it can be concluded that HEXACO Personality Dimensions, positive and negative emotions and D Personality Type have important roles in the quality of life of people suffering from cancer.
